How effective is tramadol compared to hydrocodone?
Had wisdom teeth pulled out and am now out of hydrocodone but have some tramadol. Is it about the same strength or would taking tylenol or something else be better. Was taking 5/500mg of hydrocodone/APAP every 4 hours.

If you are still in a lot of pain you should contact the responsible surgeon and get more hydrocodone.

Tramadol might help. It’s pretty much an individual response. Hydrocodone is more reliable than tramadol but it might meet your needs perfectly. Never the less, the doctor needs to keep you supplied with medication if his/her work is causing you pain.

does tramadol work better if taken with grapefruit juice?
I am currently taking tramadol and i was told that the effects of tramadol are increased if you drink grapefruit juice. Has anyone heard that. And by the way,once and for all is tramadol an opiate or not.

Is it illegal to possess Tramadol(Generic Ultram) without a prescription?
Ok first off on http://www.erowid.org/pharms/tramadol/tramadol_law.shtml it states that Tramadol(Generic Ultram) is considered a “dangerous” drug where I live. I live in Georgia, but the laws for Tramadol(Generic Ultram) also state it is not illegal to possess without a prescription. As long as Tramadol(Generic Ultram) is not scheduled where i live i cannot get in trouble for having it without a prescription right?
